• This assignment will consist of creating a total of 4 animations: Axial, Radial, Dilational & Random that are 10 seconds each in duration.

• Keep your animations in the same AE file but in separate compositions.

• Combine the 4 finished comps into one large final composition in the following order:

1) Axial; 2) Radial; 3) Dilational; and 4) Random.

• The composition size should be Custom Square Pixel 872 x 486 pixels with a frame rate of 30 fps.

• Each composition must have a short introduction (title sequence) to introduce the animation.

1. AXIAL: The axial composition runs in one dimension only such as horizontal (X) or vertical (Y), or diagonal.

2. RADIAL: The radial composition springs from a center point and radiates outward.

The center radius can move around the stage in the composition.

3. DILATIONAL: The dialational composition undulates expanding and contracting, such as the pupil of your eye does when exposed to light and dark.

4. RANDOM: The random composition can combine any or all of these compositional elements.

Parameters:

– You may use Photoshop, Illustrator to create shapes or you can create them in AfterEffects.

Refer to your text book on the chapter that explains drawing Shape Layers.

– Create a title comp and smaller subtitle comps to introduce each animation and incorporate them into a FINAL MOVIE COMP. (i.e. your final movie will be roughly around 60 seconds with your four 10 second comps and your titles.)
