Research Takes Time!
Don’t Procrastinate.
Here’s the best strategy to use Library Services
1. Use your unique ID: BC ID + BC. Example: 1234567BC
2. Is the library accessible off campus?
YES. Use your regular BC login.
3. Are you looking for a book?
- The online catalog connects you with KCTOWERS. If you can’t find it there, search MOBIUS.
4. Are you looking for articles?
- Start with the Online Databases:
- Academic Search Premiere is a good general one.
Boolean operators (boolean means either a true or false)
- OR gives the most results
- AND includes both terms
- NOT eliminates the second term
You can create folders in your account and save publications that you have researched.
There is also a way to grab the ALS notation that you will need in your review of literature.
